Windows 10 Update Blocking Windows 8.1 Updates

Dear Community,

After reserving Windows 10 update on Windows 8 decided to cancel update over "Get Windows 10" icon.

Now it is impossible to get normal Windows 8 updates without being asked to install Windows 10 in first place !!!

Microsoft support accessed my laptop, after 3 days without success they ask me to upgrade and downgrade...

Someone could kindly help to remove Windows 10 update???

There are a lot of cases the above procedure is not working so I have been looking for the solution since 29 July 2015 ... Here it is !!!

1. Open the Reservation app in the notification area.
Click the menu in the upper left corner, then select View Confirmation.
In the lower left, click Cancel reservation and then confirm.

Solution:

2. On the Start screen, start typing “command prompt” (without the quotes). The Search panel displays on the right side of the screen and results of the search display as you type. Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator from the popup menu.

Enter the following commands:

wusa /uninstall /kb:3035583
wusa /uninstall /kb:2952664 (Windows 7)
wusa /uninstall /kb:2976978 (Windows 8.X)

2.1. Just in case stop Windows Update

Enter the following command:

net stop wuauserv

2.2 Start the registry editor (regedit) and remove the following registry entries:

Remove all registry entries in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\OSUpgrade"

Remove these two registry entries in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update"

OSUpgradePendingReboot
OSUpgradeRebootScheduledTime

2.3 Reboot the system
