pagewide 377dw stopped going into sleep mode and does not update firmware
Produto: Pagewide MFP 377dw
Sistema Operacional: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a Pagewide MFP 377dw printer connected via wireless to a Windows 10 64 bits laptop that, suddenly, stopped going into sleep mode, although it has always entered into sleep mode after 5 mins. I've just updated the drivers to the latest version but the problem remains.
Tried to update the firmware but I can't: after dowloading and running the firmware, it communicates with the printer (since the printer bips and it appears "Verifying" in the printer's screen) but, after waiting a long time, it gives a message (in the laptop) saying "The update failed on 1 printer. Please turn the printer off, then on, and retry the update". The printer is frozen and cannot be switched off through the power button; only unpluging will turn it off. When retrying the firmware update, it happens the same again.
I've also tried to update the firmware through the printer's EWS but in the Update Firmware section it says that updates have been disabled.
When I go to the Web Services section of the EWS, it says that Web Services have been disabled as well. I don't know why these things are disabled and couldn't enable them following the guides in the HP Costumer Support website...
